Dramageddon Recordings releases music by composers and sound artists who consistently create work for contemporary theatre, dance, and performance. We foreground music drawn from performing arts works that is typically heard only in the context of live presentation. This is music into which significant time, thought, and artistic labour are invested, yet which too rarely continues to exist beyond the framework of the performance itself.

Our aim is to place the music at the centre and make it accessible to a broader audience over an extended period of time. Our commitment is rooted in our own artistic practice in contemporary experimental theatre, as well as in a desire to create a new context for this particular kind of music and compositional practice.
